Creator rewards
If you launched a token, you earn a share of every trade on it, every buy and every sell, by anyone, forever. It does not stop at graduation.
That is true of two of the three token types. How much you earn, and whether you earn at all, depends on the type you chose at launch:
| Token type | You earn |
|---|---|
| Standard | 0.7% of every trade |
| Auto-Burn | 0.4% of every trade |
| Tax-Free | Nothing, ever |
Always paid in ETH, or WETH after graduation, never in your own token. Being paid in your own token would just mean sell pressure on your own launch.
If you launched Tax-Free
You will never earn anything from it, and nothing on this page applies to you. There is no Claim card, no balance building up, and no collect that pays you.
This is not a fault and it is not something support can switch on. Tax-Free means holders trade without a fee, which means there is no fee to share. After graduation the pool does earn a small amount, and all of it is used to buy the token back and burn it, so it goes to holders as reduced supply rather than to anyone as income.
The choice is fixed at launch and cannot be changed afterwards, so it is worth being certain before picking it. If you want to earn from your token, launch Standard or Auto-Burn.
The two buttons
Most of the confusion here comes from assuming Collect and Claim are the same button with two names. They are not. They do different jobs.
| Collect | Claim | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Takes the fees out of the Uniswap pool and splits them up | Sends your own share to your wallet |
| Who it is for | The token. It moves money for the creator, the burn and the treasury all in one go | You. It moves only your money |
| When it exists | Only after graduation | Before and after graduation |
| Who can press it | Anyone at all, including strangers | Anyone at all, but the money always goes to the creator |
| Does the presser get paid? | No. They pay the gas and receive nothing | Yes, the creator does |
| Where to find it | Run Collect & Burn, on the token page or the Keeper page | Claim, on the token page or My tokens |
The short version: collect makes the money available. Claim puts it in your pocket.
On a Tax-Free token, collect still exists and still does something useful, it just burns the whole amount instead of paying anyone.
Getting paid before graduation
While your token is still on the bonding curve, this is one step.
| Step | What you do | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nothing, just wait | Every buy and every sell adds your share to a running total held inside the token contract |
| 2 | Press Claim | The whole total is sent to your wallet in ETH, and the total resets to zero |
Open your token's page with the wallet that created it. At the bottom of the trade panel:
Your creator rewards
0.0000 ETH
The card only appears when you are the creator and there is something to claim. On a Tax-Free token it never appears, because trades cost nothing and so produce nothing to share.
Why it is not just sent to you automatically. If the contract tried to push ETH to the creator on every single trade, and the creator's address refused to accept ETH, every buy and sell on that token would fail. Letting the total build up and having you pull it means one broken address cannot break trading for everyone.
Getting paid after graduation
Once your token moves to Uniswap, this becomes two steps. This is the part that catches creators out.
| Step | What you do | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nothing, just wait | Every trade in the pool leaves fees sitting inside the pool. Nobody has been paid yet |
| 2 | Press Run Collect & Burn, or wait for somebody else to | The fees come out of the pool and are split three ways. The treasury is paid immediately, the burn share is destroyed, and your share is set aside with your address on it |
| 3 | Press Claim | Your set-aside share is sent to your wallet in WETH |
Step 2 does not have to be you. Anyone can press it, and other people often do, because the Keeper page lists every token with fees waiting. But nobody is obliged to, and the person who does gets nothing for it and pays the gas. So if nothing has happened for a while, press it yourself.
Step 2 will not run on small amounts. At least 0.005 WETH of fees must have built up. Below that the transaction refuses, on purpose, so the gas does not cost more than the money being moved.
Why claim is still separate from collect. Same reason as before graduation. If collect paid the creator directly and that address refused the transfer, the whole collect would fail, taking the burn and the treasury payment down with it. Keeping them apart means a broken creator address can only ever break its own payout.
The two phases side by side
| Before graduation | After graduation | |
|---|---|---|
| Where your money sits | Inside the token contract, as a running total | Inside the Uniswap pool, until somebody collects |
| Steps to get paid | One. Claim | Two. Collect, then claim |
| You are paid in | ETH | WETH |
| Minimum before it works | None, any amount above zero | Collect needs 0.005 WETH built up |
| When the burn happens | On every trade | At collect |
| When the treasury is paid | On every trade | At collect |
| Can it stall? | No. Your balance is always claimable | Yes. It waits until somebody runs collect |
One more thing about the money after graduation: Uniswap has a protocol fee setting that can divert part of the pool fee before any of this happens. On these pools it is switched off today, so the whole pool fee reaches the locker. It is not Moltion's setting to change either way, so your share is always worked out from what the locker actually collects, not from raw trade volume.
If something looks wrong
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No Claim card on your token page | You have earned nothing yet, or you are not connected with the wallet that launched it | Check which wallet is connected |
| No Claim card and your token is Tax-Free | Working as intended. Tax-Free tokens earn the creator nothing | Nothing to do. See above |
| Balance stuck at zero after graduation, but the token is clearly trading | Nobody has run collect yet. Your money is still inside the pool | Press Run Collect & Burn yourself |
| Run Collect & Burn fails | Less than 0.005 WETH has built up | Wait for more trading, then try again |
| Claim fails | There is nothing set aside for you. Collect has not run since your last claim | Run collect first, then claim |
| Rewards never arrive at all | The creator address cannot receive ETH | Nothing can fix this after launch. See below |
Your dashboard
My tokens lists every coin you have launched with both fee streams side by side, showing what has built up on the curve and what is waiting in the locker, plus the buttons to collect and claim without visiting each token page.
Gas is worth thinking about
Claiming costs gas. Claiming a very small balance can cost more than it is worth. Let it build.
Two edge cases to be aware of
Rewards are paid strictly to the creator address recorded at launch. If that address cannot receive ETH, the balance stays in the contract permanently. Launch from an address you control and that can receive ETH normally.
Handover is two-step and creator-only. The payout address can be changed, but only by the current creator proposing it and the new address accepting. There is no admin override, so nobody at Moltion can reassign your fee stream, to you or away from you.
